We enter the Epiphany season by remembering our Lord’s baptism by John at the Jordan River. Jesus was anointed with the Holy Spirit and announced as God’s beloved Son. This Sunday’s lessons also invite us to remember our own baptism and how it connects us to God’s saving power and presence in the world.
