While still a 12-year old boy, Jesus amazed the religious scholars of Jerusalem with his teaching. Not since the days of the great King Solomon had they heard such words of wisdom. This revelatory moment in Jesus’ young life reminds us that God’s Son came to bring us life-giving instruction. We too will grow in saving wisdom as we spend time in God’s house and meditating on His Word.
