“Omnipotence” It’s a fancy Latin word that means “all-powerful”. It’s also a key attribute of God’s character and a theme running through our readings today. The greatness and majesty of His Creation can leave us feeling small, weak, and perhaps even insignificant at times. But in addition to God’s supreme power, Scripture also testifies to His tender concern for weak people (Isaiah 40:31), His delight in those who fear Him (Psalm 147:11), and His desire to heal us (Mark 1:34). Praise God for His omnipotence!
