Sometimes this life can feel like a constant scramble due to the fact that we are always running out of things…food, money, time, patience. Today’s readings offer us a divine remedy to this conundrum. When Elijah was feeling exhausted and hopeless, God sent ministering angels to revive him (1 Kings 19). Paul invites us to walk in Christ and experience by faith a daily renewal of our spirit (Ephesians 4). And in our Gospel reading Christ offers himself as the “living bread from heaven” giving us life with no expiration date! (John 6).
