On Pentecost Jesus fulfilled his promise to send us the Holy Spirit (John 15:26).
Who is the Holy Spirit? You can think of Him as a divine delivery man. We’ve all seen the delivery vans that drive around dropping off packages at peoples’ homes. The Holy Spirit’s job is to deliver the gifts of Christ – like forgiveness, faith, and eternal life – into our hearts through the means of grace, and help us
to bear spiritual fruit. “Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Your people and kindle in us the fire of
Your love.”
