Today’s worship service has a special mission focus as we welcome Rev. Jordan Peiser from Apple of His Eye ministry. Sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with our non-Christian neighbors can feel like a daunting task. Where would I start? How would my words be received? Focusing on ourselves and thinking that everything hangs on how we perform only leads to discouragement and inaction. Ezekiel’s vision of the Valley of Dry Bones reminds us that it is God’s Spirit that breathes life into the spiritually dead. Jesus the Messiah came to be the Savior of all people, both Jew and Gentile. Holy Spirit, fill our hearts with love for those who are far away from You, give us the right words to say, and courage to speak!
