“Semper Paratus” is a Latin motto, used by the U.S. Coast Guard; it means “always ready”. In light of Scripture’s promise that Jesus WILL come again, and on a day and hour that no one but God knows, all people on earth would be wise to adopt “Semper Paratus” as their personal motto!
The month of November signals the approaching end of the Church year. And with that, we’ll hear readings that focus on the End of the Age and Christ’s return. Lord, teach us how to be “always ready” for your appearance in glory.
