How precious is God’s gift of sight! In giving us a visual sense God opened a door to the particular delights of golden morning sunlight, green daffodil buds, and the smiling faces of our dear ones. But even more precious is the gift of spiritual sight – eyes to see in the face of the crucified Jesus, our Savior from sin and death. When Jesus restored the sight of man born blind, it caused controversy and division. Some believed while others objected (Jn 9). Lord, help us to walk as Your children of Light! (Eph 5)
