Our world is a spiritual battle ground, with every inch being contested by an invisible Enemy we know as Satan. In his Parable of the Weeds, Jesus teaches his disciples about the source of unbelief and evil in the world. He also promises a coming day of judgment when Satan and all who follow him will be punished. But Jesus gives us cause to rejoice, for those who live by faith will “shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father.” Thank you, Lord Jesus, for keeping us safe from the Evil One.
