“What are you seeking?” Jesus poses this penetrating question in today’s Gospel reading. And it’s a question we are wise to ponder for ourselves. What is it we are looking for…in this life, from ourselves, from others, and (most importantly) from Jesus? John’s words testify clearly who Jesus is and why he came. He is the “Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world”!
