The complaint that God’s not fair isn’t just a debating point raised by modern skeptics of religion. Even believers have gotten in on the act. “You say the way of the LORD is not just!” (Ezek.18:25) God’s Word is clear in teaching the principle of individual accountability before Him. This is a gracious thing! Rather than lump the good and the bad in together, God promises to judge each person by their own actions. Also, His desire is not to condemn, but to forgive and save. We know this because God kept His promise to send a Mighty Deliverer – Jesus the Messiah.
