Pastor Jon has been serving the people at St. Peter since September of 2022. He is a graduate of Valparaiso University in his home state of Indiana (1999) and Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, MO (2005). Prior to coming to New Jersey, he served congregations in Iowa and Nebraska. He lives with his wife, Hope, and their two sons in the church parsonage.
Pastor Jon finds particular joy in teaching the Christian faith to people of all ages including nursery and college aged youth, as well as engaging in conversation with non-Christians. The motto of his college alma mater continues to inspire his ministry: “In Thy light we see light.” (Psalm 36:9)
